Andy Bockelman has been a film critic for five years at various outlets including his hometown newspaper, the Craig Daily Press in Craig, Colo., and at the campus paper of his alma mater, the University of Northern Colorado, where he received BAs in journalism with an emphasis in news editorial and theatre studies with a minor in film studies. Additionally, he has provided reviews of books, music and restaurants to a variety of magazines, newspapers and Web sites, such as All Headline News and Americansongwriter.com. While writing about arts media is something he loves, he also plans to make his own contribution to these worlds, currently working on a novel and a screenplay. A fanatic for trivia about all subjects in all forms, Bockelman recently auditioned for the second time to be a contestant on "Jeopardy!"
