Jordan Hilger is a recent graduate of Covenant College as well as the New England Center for Investigative Reporting at Boston University. In college, he spent three and a half years studying the Bible and other ancient Near East literature, and seriously considered becoming a monk. He also worked as a newspaper salesman in the Deep South, selling one subscription in three months before moving on to be a dishwasher for one night at a restaurant, which exploded from a gas leak three weeks later. He is an amateur guitarist and songwriter, whose dream is to write the theme song for a James Bond movie. Currently, Jordan is a freelance writer who has also just begun a blog exploring the philosophical concerns raised by modern political issues (called “A History of No Ideas”).
