Mandy Carr spent two years in the North East of England receiving her master’s degree in magazine journalism at the University of Sunderland. During her time there, she created a magazine about ice-skating for her dissertation. Born and raised in Florida, Mandy went to The University of Tampa, where she was the arts and entertainment editor for the student-run newspaper, The Minaret. She also created and is maintaining a monthly newsletter for an art gallery in England. Recently, she moved to New York to follow her dream of journalism. Apart from writing, Mandy has a passion for movies, TV shows, the arts and plays. She hopes to build a career at a magazine or website writing about what she loves. Mandy also dreams of creating her own magazine one day.
